Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm)
The Diploma in Pharmacy program is popularly known as D. Pharm in India. D. Pharmacy is a 2 years course with main goal is to educate and train the students for practicing pharmacy. This is the minimum qualification to get registered as a Pharmacist in India.
Eligibility
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part-I course - A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.

Intermediate examination in Science

The first year of the three year degree course in Science

10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science

Pre–degree examination

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination.
Scope of the Course

Pharmacist in Government Hospitals.

Practice as pharmacist in community/Hospital

Establishment of Pharmacy (Medical shop) with register Pharmacist certificate

To join B Pharm as lateral entry student for higher education.
